The Ranch borders the Pecos River and is on two sides of the Imperial Reservoir, across the Pecos River from Grandfalls, Texas. The ranch primarily provides varmint hunting, but has access to the Pecos River and historic Santa Rosa Spring for duck, dove and quail hunting. Varmint hunting is allowed year-around and this is the only ranch I lease where rifle hunting is allowed. Hunters have had good success with varmints, particularly feral hogs, but the terrain on much of the ranch does not yield itself well to quail hunting.
Access is via highways 18 and 1450. There is a tall communications tower on the wet side of Highway 18, just north of the intersections of 18 and 1450. It is a good landmark that is visible from everywhere on the ranch. A mailbox that is the sign-in for hunters is just to the south of the tower and can be accessed without going through the gate. The sign-in tells which part of the ranch the hunting party will go to first, allowing hunters who come later to go to a different part of the ranch, important since the hunters are allowed to use rifles. The lease covers approximately 20 sections (square miles) or just under 13,000 acres.

Pages 3&4 of 4, HUNTING LEASE TERMS & CONDITIONS. - Complete items I-III and A-G of the license agreement and sign and date it.
- Sign or initial and date pages 2, 3 and 4.
- Send (a) all four pages, (b) your payment and (c) a legible copy of your Texas Driver's License* or other picture I.D.* to 508 N. Jackson, Odessa, Texas 79761.
