Northwest Ector County
The JY Ranch in northwest Ector County, is approximately twenty-two and one-half sections (square miles) or 14,400 acres of land, all with great access because of oilfield roads, easements and rights-of-way. The ranch lies west of State Highway 181 beginning 5 miles north of the intersection of Highway 181 and State Highway 302. The northern boundary is Sheep Pasture Road. There are seven windmills on the property which feed into metal tanks that overflow into dirt tanks.
The ranch is relatively flat, with a few playa lakes that are usually dry, but will hold rainwater after rains. There is no need to boot dogs anywhere on the ranch. Vehicles must stay on roads and existing pipelines and trails. There is good overhead cover, no farming in the area, but there are sandhills within a few miles. Hunters will get an oilfield map and a copy of the USGS map with Section lines sketched in. Using well numbers one can locate one's position fairly precisely using the two maps.

Page 1 of 4, HUNTING LICENSE AGREEMENT;
Page 2 of 4, HUNTER'S LIABILITY RELEASE AND INDEMNIFICATION AGREEMENT; and
Pages 3&4 of 4, HUNTING LEASE TERMS & CONDITIONS. - Complete items I-III and A-G of the license agreement and sign and date it.
- Sign or initial and date pages 2, 3 and 4.
- Send (a) all four pages, (b) your payment and (c) a legible copy of your Texas Driver's License* or other picture I.D.* to 508 N. Jackson, Odessa, Texas 79761.
